Do you ever feel like the world is just spinning a little too fast?
Between the headlines, the bills, and the sheer pace of life, it’s easy to feel like we’re just catching our breath before the next wave hits. Whether you’re working the graveyard shift, caring for a loved one at home, or just trying to make sense of the noise, there is a deep, quiet truth that changes everything.
Jesus is coming back.
At Boundless Online Church, we call this "The Blessed Hope." It isn't a scary story or a fairy tale. It’s the ultimate promise. It’s the reality that the King of Kings is returning to set things right.
But here’s the big question: How does knowing that Jesus is coming back change the way we live on a random Tuesday morning?
Looking Up When the World Looks Down
In the Assemblies of God, we hold to 16 Fundamental Truths. One of those is the "Blessed Hope", the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord.
That’s a lot of "churchy" words to say something very simple: We have a future that is guaranteed by God Himself.
When we live with an eternal perspective, our "right now" starts to look different. The stress at work, the physical pain we might be carrying, or the loneliness of a quiet house, these things are real, and they matter. But they aren't the end of the story.

Living in the "In-Between"
We live in the "already, but not yet."
Jesus has already won the victory over sin and death. That happened at the Cross. But we are not yet living in the full realization of His kingdom on earth. We are in the middle of the story.
Think of it like a movie where you’ve already seen the ending. You might get nervous during the tense scenes, but deep down, you know the hero wins. You know the family gets back together. You know the light outshines the darkness.
That knowledge allows us to breathe. It allows us to serve others even when we’re tired. It allows us to have peace when the world is in chaos.
If you’re looking for ways to stay grounded in this peace, check out some of our online programs or listen to the latest episode of God’s Balancing Act. We talk a lot about finding that middle ground between our daily struggles and our heavenly hope.
The Gospel: The Door to the Kingdom
If you are reading this and you aren't sure where you stand with this "Coming King," I want to talk directly to you.
The message of the Return of the King is only good news if you know the King.
The Bible tells us that we have all missed the mark. We’ve all gone our own way and tried to be the kings of our own little worlds. That’s what the Bible calls sin. And sin separates us from a holy God.
But God loved us too much to leave us in that mess.
He sent His Son, Jesus, to live the perfect life we couldn't live and to take the punishment we deserved. He died on a cross, was buried, and three days later, He walked out of that grave alive.
He didn't just do that to give us a ticket to heaven. He did it to give us a relationship with Him right now.
Becoming a follower of Jesus is as simple as:
Admitting you need Him.
Believing that He is who He says He is.
Choosing to follow Him as the leader of your life.
If you’ve never made that choice, today is a great day to start. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to take that first step. If you’re new to all of this, we’d love to walk with you. You can find more info on our I’m New page.

Our Mission While We Wait
So, what do we do while we wait for the Return of the King?
We don't just sit on our hands and stare at the clouds. We have work to do. Our mission at Boundless is simple: We help people meet Jesus and grow in faith online.
Living with an eternal perspective means we care about the things Jesus cares about.
We care about the person feeling isolated in a hospital bed.
We care about the shift worker who can't make it to a physical building on Sunday morning.
We care about the seeker in a country where it isn't safe to talk about the Bible.
This is why we provide resources like our Clarion Call Bible Study and podcasts like A Way Out. We want to be a community that stays awake and stays busy doing good.
The Millennial Reign
One of the other Fundamental Truths we hold dear is the "Millennial Reign of Christ." This is the promise that Jesus will return with His saints to reign on earth for one thousand years.
This brings the scriptural promise of the salvation of national Israel and the establishment of universal peace. Imagine a world where there is no more war, no more injustice, and no more brokenness.
That is the world our King is bringing with Him.
When we feel overwhelmed by the injustice we see in the news, we can remind ourselves: The King is coming, and He will make it right.

A Community Without Borders
The beauty of being an online church is that we aren't limited by walls. Our community stretches across time zones and continents.
If you are a caregiver who can't leave the house, you are part of us. If you are working a late shift and listening to this on your break, you are part of us.
We are a global family waiting together for the most important event in history.
Sometimes, waiting is hard. Sometimes, we feel like we’re running on empty. If that’s you today, please know that you don't have to carry that weight alone. We are here to pray with you and for you.

Staying Ready
How do we stay ready? By staying connected to the Source.
Stay in the Word: Read the promises of God daily.
Stay in Prayer: Keep the conversation with God open throughout your day.
Stay in Community: Join us for our podcasts or engage with our media.
The King is returning. It might be today; it might be tomorrow. But until that day comes, we live with hope, we live with purpose, and we live with our eyes on the horizon.
Do you have questions about what it means to follow Jesus? Or maybe you just need someone to agree with you in prayer about a situation in your life?
We invite you to reach out. We are a welcoming community, and we believe that no one is too far gone for the grace of God.
Let’s keep our perspective eternal and our hearts full of hope. The King is coming!
