• The idol of Performance: Bowing to the need to be perfect to be loved.

• The idol of Provision: Bowing to the fear that God won't take care of us.

• The idol of Popularity: Bowing to the digital crowd's opinion instead of God's truth.

How do we actually do it? How do we keep our knees from buckling when the furnace is seven times hotter than usual?

1. Know Your "Even If"

The secret to the three Hebrew boys' courage wasn't that they knew they would be saved. It was their declaration in Daniel 3:17-18: "Our God is able to deliver us... but even if He does not, we will not serve your gods." Standing firm requires a faith that isn't dependent on the outcome. It’s a commitment to Jesus Christ that says, "I love You more than I love my own comfort."

2. Find Your Community

Notice there were three of them. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego didn't stand alone. They had each other. In the digital age, isolation is one of the enemy's greatest tools.
