When we talk about being "empowered," it can sometimes sound like a high-level theological concept that doesn't touch the ground. 1. Power for Personal Holiness

One of the primary ways the Spirit empowers you is by changing your "want-to." On our own, we often struggle with habits, tempers, or selfish desires. The Holy Spirit works internally to align our character with Christ’s. This is what we call living a "holy life." It isn’t about being perfect; it’s about being set apart and strengthened to choose what is good.

When you feel the urge to react in anger or give in to a recurring temptation, the Spirit provides a "stop-gap": that quiet inner voice and the actual strength to walk a different path.
