The mission of First Assembly Memphis is to provide a "front-porch" welcome to every person in our city. Whether you are in Cordova, Bartlett, or the heart of downtown, we believe God has something amazing in store for you.

Why Finding "Family" Matters in the 901
Memphis is a city of deep roots, incredible food, and soulful music, but it can also be a place where it’s easy to feel lost in the crowd. Many people walk through their daily lives feeling like a face in the sea of the 901, looking for a place where they aren't just noticed, but truly known.
The "Sin" or the problem many of us face is isolation. Even in a crowded city, we can experience a spiritual loneliness that keeps us from the "amazing things" God has planned. The "Solution" is the Body of Christ. At FA Memphis Connection, we don't see ourselves as a "religious club." We see ourselves as a family.
We aren't here to compete with other local ministries. There are many wonderful churches in Memphis, and we celebrate what God is doing across our city. Our focus is simply on being the "Connection", the bridge between where you are right now and the abundant life God offers.
Definition: Fellowship
Fellowship is more than just talking after a service. It is a Greek concept called koinonia, meaning "partnership" or "sharing in common." In a church family, it means walking through life's highs and lows together, grounded in our shared faith in Jesus.

Sanctification is the ongoing process of being "set apart" for God. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about the Holy Spirit working in us daily to make us more like Jesus in our thoughts, words, and actions.
