In a recent and sobering development in Northern Ireland, a 78-year-old retired Baptist pastor, Clive Johnston, was convicted on May 7, 2026, for preaching the Gospel in a public space. His offense? Holding an open-air Sunday service within a "Safe Access Zone" outside Causeway Hospital in Coleraine.
Pastor Johnston wasn't shouting slogans or carrying protest signs. He was preaching from John 3:16, a verse that captures the very heart of God’s love for the world.
