A Message from Boundless Online Church
Yes, divine healing can help because God still heals today, and prayer still matters. Divine healing is the supernatural work of God restoring health in body, mind, or spirit according to His will. Rooted in the atonement of Jesus Christ, it remains a real source of hope, comfort, and testimony for believers.
The Scriptural Foundation for Healing
Before we dive into how we practice prayer in our online community, we have to look at what the Word of God says. Scripture is the bedrock of everything we believe. We don't just hope for healing; we stand on the promises that have been given to us by a loving Father.
Psalm 103:2-3 - "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."
James 5:14-15 - "Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven."
Isaiah 53:5 - "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed."
Matthew 8:17 - "This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: 'He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.'"

Understanding Divine Healing Today
When I talk about divine healing, it’s easy to get caught up in the spectacular, the "lightning bolt" moments where someone stands up out of a wheelchair. And while those moments are absolutely real and worth celebrating, divine healing is often a deeply personal, restorative process. In our online church community, I approach healing with expectation and grace. I know God is sovereign, and His love for you is not measured by how quickly a physical symptom disappears.
I believe healing is an expression of God’s nature. He is a Restorer. He is a Comforter. When I pray for healing, I am asking for the reality of heaven to touch the brokenness of earth. It’s important to remember that I am not "twisting God’s arm" to get Him to care; He already cares more than I can imagine. Assemblies of God worldview IS the guardrails. I stay anchored in the biblical truth that healing is provided in the atonement of Christ and administered according to God’s perfect wisdom.
In our community, we see healing as a three-fold experience: physical, emotional, and spiritual. Sometimes the greatest miracle isn't the mending of a bone, but the mending of a heart that has been shattered by trauma or grief. The Holy Spirit is the active agent in this work, moving through our prayers to bring peace that surpasses understanding.
The Power of the Holy Spirit and Prayer
You might wonder why an online church emphasizes the Holy Spirit so much when it comes to prayer. It’s because the Holy Spirit is our Helper. When I do not know how to pray as I ought, the Spirit intercedes. In our community, I encourage the Baptism in the Holy Spirit because it empowers prayer and daily life. This is not just about a one-time moment; it’s about a daily walking, talking relationship with God where His power flows through us to a hurting world.
When we gather online for prayer, whether through a live stream or on our prayer walls, we are not limited by geography. The Holy Spirit is not restricted by a Wi-Fi signal or a time zone. I’ve seen people receive breakthroughs in their living rooms while someone far away was praying for them. That is part of the beauty of the Boundless community: you are never forgotten, never alone, and deeply loved by God.

Healing as a Process and a Testimony
Often, I think a testimony has to be a finished story with a "happily ever after" bow on top. But some of the most powerful testimonies of divine healing come from the middle of the process. I think of a member of our community who struggled with chronic pain for years. For them, divine healing did not come as an instantaneous disappearance of pain, but as a supernatural infusion of strength and a gradual recovery that baffled their doctors.
Science tells us that faith and a positive spiritual outlook can have tangible benefits on our physical health. While we never suggest replacing medical care with prayer, doctors are often the instruments God uses for healing, we believe that prayer adds a dimension of restoration that medicine cannot reach. It’s about the "unexplained and incomprehensible" work of God that brings wholeness to the entire person.
As you navigate your own journey, I encourage you to be patient with the process. God is working even when we can't see the results immediately. If you are waiting for a miracle, don't let the silence of the moment make you deaf to the voice of the Father. He is with you in the waiting.
Staying Protected in a Digital World
As we build this online community, I want to make sure we are looking out for each other in every way, including our digital health. Discussing deep spiritual matters and seeking prayer online is a blessing, but it’s also important to keep our digital environments safe. I always recommend using tools like Bark or Covenant Eyes to help keep online spaces wholesome and focused on what matters. When we protect our eyes and ears, we create more room for the Holy Spirit to speak to us.
If you're looking for clean, family-friendly entertainment that builds your faith instead of tearing it down, I recommend VidAngel or "Enjoy Movies Your Way." They can help filter out content that does not align with your values, helping your home remain a sanctuary. Our spiritual healing is often tied to the environment we cultivate around us.

A Prayer for Your Healing
If you are reading this today and you are in need of a touch from the Lord, whether it’s in your body, your mind, or your circumstances, I want to pray with you right now.
Heavenly Father, I thank You that You are the Great Physician. I lift up my friend who is reading this right now. You know exactly where they are hurting and what they need. I ask for Your healing power to flow into their life. Restore what has been broken, comfort what is grieving, and heal what is sick. We thank You that by the wounds of Jesus, we are made whole. Empower them by Your Holy Spirit to walk in strength and peace today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
