Sending Hope: Our Digital Care Packages

I've spent a lot of time thinking about what it means to really show up for people when they need it most. And honestly? Some of the loneliest people I know aren't just alone: they're isolated. They're in hospital rooms with visiting hours that come and go too fast.
They're in jails and detention centers where mail call is the highlight of the week. They're in places where hope feels scarce and love feels distant.
But here's what I know about our Boundless family: you show up. You pray. You care. And you never let distance stop you from loving people well.
That's why I'm so excited to introduce something we're launching this week: Digital Care Packages.
What Is a Digital Care Package?
Think of it as a virtual hug wrapped in prayer, recorded on video, and delivered straight to someone who desperately needs to know they're not forgotten.
Here's how it works: you nominate someone: a friend in the hospital, a family member in jail, a neighbor in rehab, someone who's isolated and needs to feel the love of God and the warmth of community. Then, our Boundless family rallies together to record short video clips: prayers, words of encouragement, worship songs, Scripture: and we compile them into one beautiful, powerful message.

We're not just sending a card. We're sending a community. We're sending hope. We're sending a reminder that you are never forgotten, never alone, and deeply loved by God.
Why This Matters
Isolation is one of the enemy's favorite weapons. When you're stuck in a hospital bed at 2:00 AM staring at the ceiling, or counting down days behind bars with nothing but your regrets to keep you company, it's easy to believe the lie that nobody cares. That you've been forgotten. That you're too far gone.
But that's never been true. Not for one single second.
Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." And if God is close, then we need to be close too. We need to find ways to break through the walls: literal and figurative: and show people that the body of Christ doesn't forget its own.
I've seen what happens when someone in a dark place gets a message that says, "We see you. We're praying for you. You matter." It changes everything. It can be the turning point. The moment hope walks back into the room.
How You Can Get Involved
This is a community effort, and I need you in on it.
Step 1: Nominate Someone
Do you know someone who's isolated right now? Someone in the hospital, in jail, in a care facility, or stuck in a situation where they can't get to a church near me or connect with community? Head over to www.boundlessonlinechurch.org and submit their name. Tell us a little about their story so we can pray specifically and personally.
Step 2: Record a Message
Once we've got a nomination, we'll reach out to the Boundless community: that's you: and invite you to record a quick video. It doesn't have to be long or polished. Just genuine. A prayer. A word of encouragement. A verse that's meant something to you. Maybe even a quick worship song if that's your thing.

You can record it on your phone, upload it through our platform, and we'll take care of the rest.
Step 3: We Deliver Hope
Our team will compile all the videos into one cohesive Digital Care Package and send it to the person who needs it. Whether it's through email, a tablet at a hospital, or a video visitation system at a jail, we'll make sure it gets there.
And here's the beautiful part: that person gets to see a whole community of people: many of them strangers: who took time out of their day to remind them that they are loved, valued, and prayed for.
Why Boundless Is Built for This
Our entire ministry exists to break down barriers. We use live translation tech so language doesn't divide us. We stream 24/7 so time zones and work schedules don't keep you from worship. We offer live chat, groups, prayer boards, and video connections so that distance never has to mean isolation.
Digital Care Packages are just the next step in that mission.
If you're part of a traditional tn assembly of god congregation or another local church, you know how powerful it is when the whole body shows up for one person. We're doing the same thing: just digitally. Just globally. Just without walls.

And if you've never been part of a church before, or you've been away for a while, this is your chance to step in and be the hands and feet of Jesus in a way that's simple, meaningful, and life-changing.
A Few Stories Already in the Works
We're just getting started, but I've already heard from a few people who want to nominate loved ones:
A mom whose son is in county jail waiting for trial. She said, "He thinks everyone's given up on him. I want him to know that's not true."
A woman whose sister is in ICU recovering from surgery with no family nearby. "She's scared and alone. I wish I could be there."
A dad whose teenage daughter is in a treatment facility. "She won't talk to me right now, but maybe she'll listen to people who understand what she's going through."
Every one of these stories breaks my heart: and every one of them is an opportunity for us to show up.
What the Bible Says About Showing Up
Jesus made it pretty clear: when we care for the sick, the imprisoned, the lonely, and the forgotten, we're caring for Him.
Matthew 25:36 says, "I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."
We can't always be there physically. But we can be there digitally. We can be there prayerfully. We can be there consistently.
And in a world where so many people feel invisible, that kind of intentional love is a game-changer.
How to Make Your Video Count
If you're wondering what to say in your video, here are a few ideas:
Pray out loud. Just talk to God on their behalf. Ask for healing, peace, strength, and hope.
Share a verse. Pick a Scripture that's encouraged you and read it over them.
Speak life. Remind them that God loves them, that their story isn't over, and that they matter.
Worship. Sing a line or two from a favorite hymn or worship song. Music has a way of reaching places words can't.

Keep it short: 30 seconds to a minute is perfect. And don't stress about being perfect. Authenticity is what matters.
Let's Build This Together
This is brand new, and I'm trusting God to show us where it needs to go. But I believe with everything in me that Digital Care Packages can be a lifeline for people who are hanging on by a thread.
If you've ever felt forgotten, you know how much it means when someone remembers you. If you've ever been in a dark place, you know how a single word of hope can light the way out.
Let's be that hope for someone else.
Here's my challenge to you:
Nominate someone this week.
Record a video for someone you've never met.
Share this post so others can join in.
And if you need prayer yourself, don't wait. Reach out to us on www.boundlessonlinechurch.org. Our team is available 24/7 because we believe no one should ever have to face hard seasons alone.
You are never forgotten. You are never alone. You are deeply loved by God: and by this community.
Let's go send some hope.
