A Message from Boundless Online Church
The 16 Fundamental Truths represent the non-negotiable core beliefs that anchor our faith and our virtual community. These doctrines provide a scriptural roadmap for understanding God’s nature, our salvation through Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the hope of the future, ensuring we grow together in unity and truth.
Bible Verses:
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." , 2 Timothy 3:16-17
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." , Acts 1:8
"For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say 'No' to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age." , Titus 2:11-12
Explanation: Finding Your Footing in a Digital World
Hey friends, I am so glad you’re here. Whether you’ve been walking with Jesus for decades or you’re just starting to explore what faith looks like in an online space, I want you to know something important: you are never forgotten, you are never alone, and you are deeply loved by God.
When we launched this virtual community, I knew we needed a foundation that wasn't built on shifting sand. In the digital age, information is everywhere, and it’s easy to get lost in the noise. That’s why we lean so heavily into the 16 Fundamental Truths. In our community, the Assemblies of God worldview IS the guardrails. These truths aren’t just dry theology; they are the lifeblood of how we live, love, and grow together online.
Today is Monday, and usually, we share testimonies in our "Monday Moments." I want to start by telling you about a member of our community who felt totally disconnected from traditional church. They were homebound and felt like their faith was drying up. When they joined our 16 Fundamental Truths Bible Study, they realized that God wasn’t limited by their four walls. Seeing the truth of "Divine Healing" and "The Baptism in the Holy Spirit" gave them a fresh fire. That’s what happens when we get back to the basics of the Word.
The Core of Who We Are
We often talk about the "Four Cardinal Doctrines" within these sixteen. If you want to succeed and thrive in our virtual community, these four are your starting points:
1. Salvation: We believe that man was created good, but fell into sin. Our only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. It’s not about being "good enough"; it’s about accepting the gift of grace. In our community, we teach and imply salvation exclusively through Jesus Christ. There’s no universalism here, just the beautiful, exclusive, inclusive invitation to follow the One who gave it all for us.
2. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit: This is meant for all believers. It’s the promise of the Father that gives us power for life and service. In a virtual church, we need that Spirit-led connection more than ever to stay united across time zones.
3. Divine Healing: Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers. We pray for the sick on our prayer wall every single day, believing that God is still the Great Physician.
4. The Blessed Hope: Jesus is coming back! This truth keeps our eyes on the horizon and gives us the urgency to share the Gospel with every digital "neighbor" we encounter.

Living it Out: Accountability and Growth
Living out these truths means being intentional with our lifestyle. Because we believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God (Truth #1), we let it guide everything, including our digital habits. When you’re part of a virtual community, your online safety and integrity matter. I always recommend using tools like Bark or Covenant Eyes to keep your digital home safe. When we consume media, we should look for clean options through VidAngel or "Enjoy Movies Your Way." Our commitment to the 16 Fundamental Truths means we strive for holiness in every tab we open and every comment we post.
The other twelve truths cover everything from the "One True God" to the "Final Judgment." They remind us that there is an order to the universe and a purpose for our lives. We believe in the "Ordinances of the Church", Baptism and Holy Communion. Even though we meet online, we celebrate these moments of obedience because they signify our deep connection to Christ’s death and resurrection.
Why It Matters for You
You might be wondering, "Why do I need a guide to these truths just to be in a virtual community?" It’s simple: unity. When we all agree on the "guardrails," we create a safe space where everyone can be vulnerable, everyone can be challenged, and everyone can be loved. We aren't here to compete with other denominations or argue over trivialities. We are here to advance the Great Commission through digital outreach while staying 100% aligned with these scriptural pillars.
If you’ve ever felt judged by "religion," let me offer a "welcome home." Our brand of faith is about meeting you where you are. We use these 16 truths not as a hammer to break people, but as a framework to build them up. Whether you are unchurched, homebound, or a global seeker, these truths offer a practical solution to the emptiness of the world.

The Daily Quest for Autonomy and Learning
To really succeed here, I encourage you to take ownership of your spiritual growth. Don't just take my word for it. Dive into the scriptures themselves. Here is a simple "Quest" for your week:
Monday: Read Truth #1 (Scripture) and Truth #5 (Salvation). Reflect on how God’s Word has changed your story.
Tuesday: Look at Truth #2 (The One True God). Spend time in nature (even if it's just a park) and see His handiwork.
Wednesday: Focus on Truth #12 (Divine Healing). Visit our prayer wall and pray for someone who is hurting.
Thursday: Study Truth #7 (Baptism in the Holy Spirit). Ask God for a fresh filling of His power.
Friday: Digital Detox day! Use the principles of sanctification to step away from the screen and bond with your family.
By following this rhythm, you aren't just a spectator; you're a practitioner. You’re becoming the person God created you to be, supported by a global family that has your back.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for the clarity of Your Word. I pray for the person reading this right now. May they feel Your presence and the strength of the foundation we have in the 16 Fundamental Truths. Lord, guide our virtual community to be a light in the darkness. Help us to stay within the guardrails of Your truth while reaching out with hearts full of grace and love. We trust You with our lives and our growth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
