Welcome to the family. If you recently decided to follow Jesus, you might be feeling a mix of incredible peace and a little bit of "now what?" It is completely normal to feel overwhelmed by the size of the Bible or the deep history of the church. At Boundless Online Church, we want to make sure your first steps are clear and filled with joy. This is why we created the Unlimited Access series. We believe that everyone, regardless of their schedule or location, should have a simple way to grow in their faith. You do not need hours of free time or a theology degree to start building a relationship with God today.
We understand that life is loud and busy. Maybe you are a parent trying to find a quiet moment between school runs, or perhaps you work the late shift and find yourself awake when the rest of the world is sleeping. You might even be reading this from a place where it is not easy to openly talk about your faith. No matter where you are or what your circumstances look like, seven minutes is something you can carve out. This small window of time is not a religious chore, but a way to open the door to God’s presence. It is about consistency over intensity as you begin this new journey.
Our foundation for everything we do comes from the Bible. In the Assemblies of God, we hold to the 16 Fundamental Truths, which remind us that the Bible is the inspired word of God and our final authority for how we live. One of these truths is that salvation is available to everyone through the work of Jesus Christ. If you want to dive deeper into what we believe as a community, you can read more about the 16 Fundamental Truths of the Assemblies of God on our website. Understanding these basics helps you see that your new life in Christ is built on a solid rock that will never move.
The first part of your seven-minute habit takes just thirty seconds. This is your time to prepare your heart. Before you do anything else, just take a deep breath and acknowledge that God is with you. You might say a very simple prayer asking the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts and open your eyes to what He wants to show you. This brief moment of surrender sets the tone for the rest of your day. It reminds you that you are not doing life alone anymore. You are inviting the Creator of the universe to walk beside you in every conversation and every task you have ahead of you.

After your heart is prepared, spend the next four minutes reading the Bible. For a new believer, we always recommend starting with the Gospel of Mark. It is fast-paced, action-oriented, and gives you a clear picture of who Jesus is and what He did for us. Do not worry about reading multiple chapters or analyzing every single word. Just read until something sticks out to you. The goal is to let God speak to you through His Word. If you only get through a few verses, that is perfectly fine. The Bible is living and active, and even a single sentence can provide the strength you need for your day.
If you are a busy parent or caregiver, you might find that these four minutes are the only mental space you get all day. We have resources specifically for you, like our daily parent devotionals, which can help you integrate your faith into the rhythm of raising a family. Whether you are reading on a physical Bible or on your phone, the important thing is that you are feeding your spirit with the truth. God’s Word is the primary way He communicates His love and His will for your life.
The final two and a half minutes of your time should be spent in prayer. A great way to structure this without feeling lost is the ACTS method, which stands for Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication. You start with Adoration by simply telling God how great He is. You might praise Him for His kindness or His power. Then, move into Confession. This is where you honestly tell God about the things you’ve done wrong and ask for His help to do better. Remember, God is not looking to punish you; He is looking to restore you. This aligns with our belief in the importance of repentance and the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
After confession, spend a moment in Thanksgiving. Think of three specific things you are grateful for today. It could be something big like your health or something small like a good cup of coffee. Gratitude changes your perspective and helps you see God’s hand in the small details of your life. Finally, end with Supplication. This is just a fancy word for asking. Pray for your family, your friends, and your own needs. God cares about what you are going through and He wants you to bring your burdens to Him. Even in just two and a half minutes, you can have a meaningful conversation with your Heavenly Father.

This seven-minute routine is a starting point, not a limit. As you grow, you might find that your four minutes of reading naturally turns into ten, or your prayer time expands as you find more things to talk to God about. The key is to just start. For those who are homebound or dealing with physical disabilities, this small commitment can be a lifeline of connection to the outside world and to the divine. We are a global community, and we know that for some of our friends, these seven minutes are a bold act of courage in an environment that is not friendly to the Gospel.
Growing in your faith also means finding a community where you can ask questions and find support. We invite you to join us for our Sunday live worship where you can experience the presence of God alongside people from all over the world. Faith was never meant to be a solo journey. We need each other to stay encouraged and to stay on the right path. You can also explore our various groups to find others who are in the same stage of life or who share similar interests. Being part of a spiritual family provides the accountability and love we all need to thrive.
If you have questions about what you are reading or how to pray, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help you navigate these new waters. You can visit our faith and discipleship blog category for more articles that break down the basics of Christian living. Whether it is understanding water baptism or learning how to share your story with others, we want to provide you with the tools you need to succeed. Your growth is a priority to us because every person who meets Jesus changes the world around them for the better.
As you go about your day today, remember that you have "Unlimited Access" to the King of Kings. You don't have to wait for a special service or a specific person to pray for you. Because of Jesus, the curtain has been torn, and you can talk to God anytime, anywhere. Whether you are on a break at a factory, sitting in a hospital room, or standing in your kitchen, He is right there with you. Keep up with your seven minutes, stay hungry for the truth, and watch how God transforms your life from the inside out.
