1. Start small. Set your alarm just 10 or 15 minutes early.

2. Keep it simple. Don’t feel like you need to do a deep theological study. Just read a Psalm or a few verses from the Gospels.

3. Invite the Spirit. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you strength and patience for the day ahead.

This isn't about checking a religious box. It’s about filling your cup so you have something to pour out when the kids start asking for breakfast.

The Living Room Sanctuary

In the Assemblies of God tradition, we believe in the "Blessed Hope": the reality that Jesus is coming back and that He is with us right now through His Spirit. That Spirit is just as present in your cluttered kitchen as He is in the grandest cathedral.

As a single parent, you are the primary spiritual leader of your home. That sounds intimidating, doesn't it? But discipleship isn't about having all the answers. It’s about invitation.

Invite your kids into your faith journey.
