You cannot live on spiritual leftovers and expect spiritual strength. Most men would never train once a week and expect to be physically strong. Yet many men attempt to be spiritually strong while barely touching Scripture. Then they wonder why they feel unstable, tempted, anxious, reactive, and drained.
Daily Scripture is not religious behavior. It is training. It is how the mind gets renewed. It is how faith gets built. It is how deception gets exposed. It is how men become steady.
If you are not in the Word daily, you become easier to influence.
Easier to sway
Easier to persuade
Easier to deceive
Easier to distract
Easier to dull
You do not need a perfect schedule. You need a faithful one.
Here is a simple daily plan that actually works for busy men.
Ten minutes a day
One chapter
One verse spoken out loud
One action obeyed immediately
Consistency beats intensity. Ten minutes daily will outgrow two hours once a week every time. Not because God is counting minutes, but because you are building a habit of hearing. And faith grows through hearing.
