A church community should feel safer than the open internet.
These rules describe how FA Memphis community features are intended to be used. They work together with the Community Guidelines and Privacy & Safety notice.
Accounts and age
Independent community accounts are intended for people age 13 or older. Children under 13 participate through a parent/guardian-managed family or ministry record. Do not create a false-age account for a child or encourage a child to bypass family and ministry safeguards.
Respectful community use
Do not use church community features for harassment, threats, sexual content, exploitation, grooming, hate or slurs, stalking, doxxing, scams, spam, unauthorized solicitation, or intentionally sharing another person’s sensitive information. Profanity and other flagged content may be held for human review.
Moderation and account safety
Automated filters help triage content; they do not make final disciplinary decisions. Authorized human moderators may approve, reject or remove content and may issue a documented strike, temporary restriction, suspension or ban. Three human-issued strikes may trigger suspension. Severe safety concerns may justify immediate restriction or ban without waiting for three strikes.
Prayer and pastoral care
Church prayer and pastoral-care tools are intended for ministry support, not emergency response, medical treatment, psychotherapy, legal representation or guaranteed confidentiality against all safety or legal obligations. Do not use the platform instead of emergency services when someone is in immediate danger.
AI assistance
The FA Assistant can help locate public church information and give general faith-oriented guidance within the church’s Assemblies of God/Pentecostal guardrails. AI output can be incomplete or mistaken and does not replace Scripture, pastoral leadership, professional advice, or human review of safety and disciplinary matters.
Photos, children and private locations
Only share photos you are authorized to share. Ministry photo submissions can be reviewed before public display. Private home addresses for House Groups should not be published in public invitations. Child/family media requires additional care and appropriate parent/guardian and ministry authorization.
External services
Some features open or embed third-party services such as YouTube, Zoom, Google, payment processors or other ministry tools. Their terms and privacy practices also apply when you use those services.
Changes and review
The church may update platform rules as ministry workflows and legal requirements change. Material account/privacy acknowledgments should be versioned so administrators can identify accounts that may need an updated notice.
These operational terms are not a substitute for advice from qualified counsel. Governing-law, dispute, child-consent, record-retention, employment, financial and ministry-specific provisions should be reviewed for the church’s actual legal status and activities before final legal adoption.
