That’s why God gives us His armour. It’s not a physical suit of metal, but a spiritual posture that changes how we respond to the world around us.

2. The Breastplate of Righteousness

The breastplate protects the heart. In the 21st century, our hearts are under constant attack from comparison and "cancel culture."

Righteousness isn't about being perfect; it’s about being "right with God" through Jesus. When you know you are forgiven and loved, you don't have to live in shame. This piece of armour guards your emotions and your core identity.

3. The Shoes of the Gospel of Peace

Where are your feet taking you? Are you walking toward conflict, or are you a person who brings peace into the room?

These "shoes" give us the stability to stand firm when the world feels like it’s shifting under our feet. They remind us that we have good news to share: the news that God loves us and has a plan for us.

4. The Shield of Faith

This is our only offensive weapon: the Word of God.

When Jesus was tempted in the desert, He didn't argue with His feelings; He quoted Scripture. In a digital age, we need to be more than just consumers of content; we need to be students of the Word. Using the "Sword" means speaking God's promises out loud when you feel overwhelmed.

• Use the Word: Keep a verse on your phone’s lock screen. When you feel a "fiery arrow" of anxiety, look at that verse and speak it.
