A Message from FA Memphis
Yes. You can connect with our Memphis church family from your living room through Boundless Online Church with livestreamed worship, real-time prayer, and interactive chat. Whether you’re homebound, traveling, or outside the 901, you can stay connected to a Spirit-filled community from anywhere.
Why this matters: our heart is to serve Memphis and the 901 with real discipleship—while also making sure nobody is left isolated just because they can’t get to the building.
Bible Verses We Hold Onto (When We Can’t Physically Get There)
Passage | What it reminds us |
Matthew 18:20 | Jesus is present when believers gather in His name—even across distance. |
Acts 2:46–47 | The early church met “day by day” in real life spaces (homes) with shared life and worship. |
Sin + Solution (When Isolation Starts Quietly)
The struggle: Isolation can quietly pull people away from community, worship, and spiritual encouragement—especially in seasons of illness, recovery, caregiving, or limited mobility.
The solution: Boundless Online Church helps bridge that gap with community, prayer, and next steps, so “online” doesn’t have to mean “alone”—while still encouraging connection to a healthy local church when someone is able.
Grounding (So You Know This Is Real and Scheduled)
Live Worship: Sundays at 10:30 AM (CST)
Pastoral Team Touchpoint:Monday Pastoral Meeting at 9:00 AM (We regularly pray over needs that come in—if you send a request, it’s not going into a black hole.)
What Boundless Online Church Offers
Boundless Online Church is a digital extension of First Assembly Memphis: a ministry without geographical limitations. The platform delivers live worship, community connection, and spiritual resources directly to homes across the globe.
Live worship streams every Sunday at 10:30 AM CST from our Cordova campus. Viewers participate in real-time worship, teaching, and prayer from any location with internet access. The service mirrors our in-person experience while accommodating those unable to attend physically due to distance, mobility challenges, work schedules, or health concerns.

Matthew 18:20 grounds this digital ministry: "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." Christ's presence transcends physical walls. We gather as believers: whether in our sanctuary or your living room: and He meets us there.
Beyond Sunday Morning
The Boundless platform provides comprehensive resources available 24/7:
Content Library: Free videos, music, podcasts, blog posts, PDFs & Bible studies accessible on-demand
Online Community Groups: Digital small groups for spiritual growth & authentic connection
Prayer Support: Live chat & phone ministry (901-213-7341) with pastors available to speak directly with viewers
Multilingual Access: Currently available in English & Spanish with additional languages in development
Members sign up using email, Google, or Facebook accounts to access all content and community features. No cost. No barriers.
Life Hack: Creating a Sacred Space at Home
Watching church in pajamas offers convenience: but intentionality transforms online worship from passive viewing into meaningful spiritual practice.
Set up a designated worship zone in your home. Choose a specific spot: whether a corner of your living room, dining table, or quiet bedroom area. Keep this space free from distractions during service times.
Practical steps to maximize your Boundless experience:
Eliminate competing noise: Turn off TVs in other rooms, silence phone notifications, close unnecessary browser tabs
Gather supplies beforehand: Bible, journal, coffee, communion elements (bread & juice)
Dress intentionally: You don't need Sunday best, but changing out of pajamas shifts your mindset from leisure to worship
Engage actively: Sing out loud, take sermon notes, respond to discussion prompts in live chat
Invite others: Text a link to family members or friends who might join from their own homes

This preparation signals to your brain and spirit: This matters. I'm showing up fully.
Who Boundless Serves
We designed this ministry for specific groups navigating real-world limitations:
Geographic Distance: Individuals living outside the Memphis area who desire consistent connection with our church family
Health Challenges: Those managing chronic illness, mobility issues, compromised immune systems, or recovery periods requiring home-based worship
Shift Workers: Medical professionals, first responders, hospitality workers & others whose employment schedules conflict with traditional service times
Family Caregivers: Parents caring for children with special needs, adult children caring for aging parents, or anyone providing full-time care that prevents leaving home
Life Transitions: College students, military personnel, travelers & those in temporary situations who need spiritual stability during change
Spiritual Seekers: Individuals exploring faith who prefer the privacy of investigating Christianity from a comfortable distance before visiting in person

The Digital Front Door (With Clear Doctrinal Guardrails)
Boundless operates as a digital front door that stays open day and night. Traditional church buildings close. This online platform remains accessible continuously: meeting people wherever they are geographically or spiritually.
And just to be clear about the foundation (because clarity is kindness): Boundless is Assemblies of God–aligned and Bible-centered.
Scripture is our authority (God’s Word is true and trustworthy).
Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus—not by earning it.
The baptism in the Holy Spirit and the Spirit’s work in believers today are affirmed.
Sanctification is a lifelong process of becoming more like Jesus.
Divine healing is believed and prayer is offered with faith and compassion.
The return of Christ is believed and hope and readiness shape how life is lived.
This approach acknowledges a fundamental truth: the Gospel was never meant to be limited by walls, borders, languages, or time zones. Technology removes these barriers, allowing us to extend hospitality and spiritual care beyond our physical campus—without replacing the God-designed value of local church community.
Connecting Beyond the Screen
Online church doesn't mean isolated church. We provide multiple pathways for genuine relationship-building:
Community Groups: Small digital gatherings focused on specific topics: parenting, Bible study, recovery, grief support, young adults. These groups meet regularly via video calls for face-to-face interaction.
Prayer Partnerships: Members request prayer through the platform and receive responses from our ministry team plus other community members. Shared burdens create bonds.
Local Church Finder: For those ready to explore in-person worship, Boundless helps locate churches in their geographic area. Boundless is a bridge, not a replacement—so if someone can connect with a healthy local church where they live, that step is celebrated and supported. That’s kingdom growth, not competition.
Campus Visits: Anyone passing through the Memphis area receives an open invitation to visit First Assembly Memphis in Cordova. It’s always meaningful to connect in person after connecting online.

You Are Seen, Heard & Loved Here
This commitment applies equally to the digital congregation. Distance doesn't diminish value. Screen separation doesn't reduce care.
You are seen when you log in: whether that's every Sunday or sporadically during difficult seasons. Your presence matters to this community.
You are heard when prayer requests are submitted, questions are asked in chat, or testimonies are shared through the platform. Your voice contributes to the collective story.
You are loved as a fellow believer pursuing Christ together. The medium changes. The mission doesn't.
Technical Accessibility
Accessing Boundless requires minimal technical knowledge:
Devices: Computer, tablet, smartphone, or smart TV with internet connection
Browser: Any modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge)
Speed: Basic broadband or mobile data: high-definition streaming not required
Account: Free signup via email, Google, or Facebook
The platform team prioritizes user-friendly design. If technical issues arise, contact support through live chat or phone (901-213-7341) for troubleshooting assistance.

Making It Count
Online worship succeeds when approached with the same seriousness as in-person attendance. Christ meets us wherever we gather in His name: but we must actually gather with intentionality rather than consume content casually.
Commit to consistency. Block Sunday mornings on your calendar. Protect that time like any important appointment.
Participate fully. Worship isn't a spectator sport. Sing, pray aloud, respond to teaching, engage in chat discussions.
Connect authentically. Join a community group. Request prayer when struggling. Celebrate victories with fellow members.
Serve digitally. Online ministry needs volunteers: prayer team members, chat moderators, social media encouragers. Your gifts matter here too.

Prayer (For the One Who Wants Connection, But Feels Stuck)
Jesus, thank You that You don’t need a building to meet with Your people. When isolation hits, remind each person that they’re not forgotten and they’re not alone. Give courage to reach out, receive prayer, and take the next step toward community. Fill every home with Your peace and Your presence. In Jesus’ name, amen.
