A Message from Boundless Online Church
Yes, divine healing can change your situation because God still meets people with His power, peace, and presence today. He may heal physically, restore what feels broken, or carry you with fresh strength in the middle of pain. In every case, He draws us closer to Jesus as we trust Him in faith and prayer.
James 5:14-15 – "Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven."
Psalm 103:2-3 – "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."
Acts 1:8 – "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
I want you to know this right away: you are never forgotten, never alone, and deeply loved by God. Whatever you are carrying today, there is real hope in Jesus. I have seen the Lord meet people in pain, fear, and brokenness, and I believe He still moves with that same mercy and power today.
When life hurts, it is easy to search everywhere else first. We measure our options, replay our fears, and wonder how anything could change. But God is gently drawing hearts back to Him. He is not far away. He is present, and He still heals, restores, and meets people by His Spirit in deeply personal ways.

When we talk about divine healing, we aren't just talking about a "magic trick." We are talking about the character of Jesus Christ. In the Assemblies of God, we believe that deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers. When Christ died on the cross, He didn't just pay for our sins; He took our infirmities upon Himself. This Assemblies of God worldview IS the guardrails. It keeps our focus on the fact that healing flows from the finished work of Jesus.
The Holy Spirit is the active agent of this healing. Many people ask me about the "Baptism in the Holy Spirit." It is an experience following salvation where the believer is filled with the Spirit’s power for life and service. This isn't just for "super-Christians." It’s for you. It’s an empowerment that changes your perspective. When you are filled with the Spirit, your "situation" doesn't just look different, it actually starts to change because you are operating with a power that is not your own.
This spiritual shift is not limited to church gatherings. It is happening in ordinary homes and quiet moments too. Since today is Friday, I want to talk about how this touches our families. We live in a noisy, screen-filled world. Our kids absorb so much, and many parents feel worn down. Sometimes healing in a home begins by making room for peace again.
I want to encourage you this weekend to try a simple family reset: a digital blackout. Put the phones in a basket. Turn off the TV. Instead of filling the room with noise, choose time together. Go for a walk, play a board game, or sit around the table and ask, "Where did you see God working today?" When we quiet the noise, we often notice the Lord’s presence in fresh ways.

If you are looking for ways to keep your family's media intake safe during the week, I always recommend using tools like VidAngel or “Enjoy Movies Your Way” for clean versions of the movies you love. For online safety, Bark and Covenant Eyes are excellent resources to ensure your home remains a sanctuary. Protecting our eyes and ears is a practical way to maintain the spiritual shift we are seeking in our lives.
Divine healing can absolutely change your situation because it addresses the root, not just the symptom. Sometimes the "situation" is a physical disease, and we pray for the miracle of restoration. Sometimes the "situation" is a heart hardened by bitterness, and the Holy Spirit comes in like a flood to soften it. The shift happens when we stop asking God to "fix" things and start asking Him to "fill" us. When the Holy Spirit occupies the center of your life, the edges of your life, your health, your family, your career, begin to align with His peace.
I've talked to so many people who felt stuck. They felt like their circumstances were a permanent cage. But once they experienced the touch of the Holy Spirit, the cage door didn't just open; it vanished. This isn't about some formula or a special prayer cloth. It's about a relationship with the Living God who loves you more than you can imagine.
As you reflect on this, I want to pray for you. I believe that as you read these words, the Holy Spirit is already moving in your heart, nudging you toward a new level of faith.

A Prayer for You: Lord Jesus, I thank You that You are the Great Physician. I pray for my friend reading this right now. You know their "situation" better than anyone else. I ask for a divine shift in their life. Holy Spirit, come and fill them. Bring healing to their body, peace to their mind, and restoration to their family. Give them the courage to lay down the distractions of this world and pick up the power of Your presence. We trust in Your goodness and Your power to change everything. Amen.
