A Message from FA Memphis
Hey friend. We are so glad you found your way here today. Whether you’re reading this under the covers of a flashlight in a place where faith is dangerous, or you're sitting in a breakroom on a double shift, or maybe you're confined to a bed because your body isn't cooperating, this message is specifically for you.
You might feel like you’re practicing your faith in the shadows. You might feel like a "secret believer," not because you're ashamed, but because your circumstances have isolated you. We want you to know something right out of the gate: God sees you. He doesn't just see the "public" version of people; He sees the heart that beats for Him in the quiet, lonely hours of the night.

The Sanctuary of the Heart
In our "Global Micro-Study" series, we focus on the idea that you don't need a cathedral to meet with God. While we love gathering together, the Bible tells us that if you have put your trust in Jesus, you are the temple of the Holy Spirit. That means the sanctuary isn't a building you travel to; it’s the space you carry within you.
For the shift worker at 3:00 AM, the hospital floor is your sanctuary. For the caregiver exhausted by the demands of a loved one, that bedside is holy ground. And for our brothers and sisters in regions where owning a Bible is a risk, your mind and heart are the safest places to store the Word of God.
Isolation can feel like a prison, but in the Kingdom of God, isolation is often the place where the deepest intimacy is formed. When all the noise of the world is stripped away, when you can't rely on a choir, a light show, or even a handshake from a neighbor, it’s just you and Jesus. And honestly? That’s where the real power starts.
The Blessed Hope: Our North Star
One of the core foundations of our faith (and something we hold dear in the Assemblies of God) is what we call the "Blessed Hope." You can find this in Titus 2:13. It’s the "blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ."
Why does this matter so much for the secret believer? Because when your present reality feels restricted, your future reality is boundless. The Blessed Hope is the promise that Jesus is coming back. He is going to set things right. For those of us who feel stuck, tired, or hidden, this is the ultimate encouragement.
The world might not see you today, but the King of Kings has your name written on the palm of His hand. He is preparing a place for you where there is no more pain, no more hiding, and no more exhaustion. This isn't just "wishful thinking." It is a doctrinal certainty. It’s the fuel that keeps us going when the day feels too long to handle.

How to Feed Your Soul in Secret
If you are in a position where you can’t openly study or spend hours in prayer, how do you stay strong? We suggest the "Micro-Study" approach.
One Verse, One Day: Don’t worry about reading entire chapters if you don’t have the time or safety. Take one verse. Memorize it. Chew on it like a piece of hard candy all day long. Let it dissolve into your spirit.
Breath Prayers: These are short, one-sentence prayers you can say in your head while you work or rest. "Jesus, give me strength." "Lord, I trust You." "Spirit, lead me." These are invisible to the world but loud in Heaven.
Digital Community: If you have safe access to the internet, you aren't alone. You can connect with others who understand your journey. Check out our Bible Study Club or stop by the Welcome Center to say hi.
A Message for the Seeker
Maybe you’re reading this and you aren't sure if you’re a "believer" yet. You’re just someone who feels the weight of the world and you’re looking for a way out, or a way through.
Here is the simple truth of the Gospel: God created you for a relationship with Him. But all of us have gone our own way. We call that sin. It’s the stuff that keeps us feeling empty and disconnected. But because God loved us so much, He sent His Son, Jesus, to live the perfect life we couldn't, die the death we deserved, and rise again to prove He has power over everything, even death itself.
If you want to trust Him today, you don't need a ceremony. You don't need a priest. You just need to talk to Him. You can say, "Jesus, I need You. I believe You died for me and rose again. Please forgive me and lead my life."
That’s it. That’s the beginning of a journey that leads to eternal life and a peace that doesn't make sense to the world around you.

You Are Part of a Global Family
Even if you never step foot in a physical church building, you are part of the Body of Christ. There are millions of people just like you, holding onto faith in hospital rooms, in warehouses, and in hidden corners of the globe.
We want to help you grow, no matter where you are. We have resources designed for people who need to keep things mobile and accessible. You can explore our online programs or even grab something from our store that reminds you of your identity in Christ, like a simple water bottle or a comfortable sweatshirt for those long shifts.

Staying Encouraged
Don't let the enemy tell you that your faith is "less than" because it’s quiet. Some of the most powerful moves of God happen in the still, small moments. The "Blessed Hope" reminds us that our current struggle is temporary, but His Kingdom is forever.
If you’re struggling with the pressure of secrecy or the weight of isolation, please reach out. You don't have to carry it by yourself. We have people ready to pray with you right now.
Keep your eyes on the horizon. Jesus is with you in the room, in the truck, in the cubicle, and in the dark. He is the light that the darkness cannot overcome.
We help people meet Jesus and grow in faith online.
