In Assemblies of God theology, salvation is what we call a Cardinal Doctrine, meaning it's absolutely central to everything we believe.

Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ's shed blood.

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit: a special empowering experience for witnessing and service.

This is different from salvation itself.

Salvation is when you're born again. The baptism in the Holy Spirit is when you're empowered for ministry and mission.

It's not required to be saved. But it's a powerful gift God offers to every believer.

Jesus, I know I'm a sinner. I've been living my own way, and I need You.

I believe You died on the cross for my sin and rose again.

I repent. I turn away from my old life and turn toward You.

Come into my heart. Make me new. I trust You as my Savior and Lord.

Thank You for Your grace. Thank You for loving me.
