Hey friend.
Welcome back to Day 2.
Maybe you're reading this on a break between shifts. Or while someone you love is finally resting. Or maybe you're somewhere in the world where simply opening this post took courage.
We see you.
And so does the One True God.
Who Is This God We're Talking About?
Yesterday, we talked about the Bible being God's Word, our trustworthy foundation.
Today, we're looking at who gave us that Word.
Not what. Who.
The Assemblies of God Fundamental Truth #2 puts it this way: There is one true God, revealed in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
If that sounds confusing, you're not alone.
But here's the thing: God isn't asking you to fully understand Him before you trust Him.
He's asking you to know Him.

One God, Three Persons
Think about water for a second.
Water can be liquid. Ice. Steam.
Same substance. Different forms.
Now, that's not a perfect picture of the Trinity, nothing really is, but it helps us see that one thing can exist in different ways at the same time.
God the Father creates, provides, and loves.
God the Son (Jesus) came to earth, lived among us, died for our sins, and rose again.
God the Holy Spirit lives in believers, guides us, comforts us, and empowers us.
Three persons. One God. Perfectly unified. Eternally existing. Infinitely loving.
You don't have to solve the mystery to experience the truth.
Why Does This Matter Right Now?
Because you're not praying to a distant concept.
You're talking to a real, living God who knows your name.
When you're exhausted from another double shift, God the Father sees you.
When you're carrying guilt or shame you can't shake, Jesus already paid for it.
When you feel completely alone in the dark, the Holy Spirit is right there with you.
This isn't theology for Sunday mornings.
This is truth for 2 a.m. when you can't sleep. For the moment the diagnosis comes in. For when you're hiding your faith because it's not safe to share it.
The One True God is with you in all of it.
He's Not Like the Others
A lot of voices are competing for your trust right now.
Some say all gods are the same. Some say you can create your own truth. Some say there's no God at all.
But here's what makes the God of the Bible different:
He came to you.
Every other religion says you have to climb a ladder, follow enough rules, or be good enough to reach God.
Christianity says God climbed down the ladder to reach you.
That's Jesus.
God didn't send a prophet. He didn't send a rule book.
He sent Himself.

The God Who Loves You First
You didn't have to clean up your life to get God's attention.
He loved you while you were still a mess.
He loved you when you didn't even know His name.
He loves you now, right where you are, in whatever condition you're in.
1 John 4:19 says, "We love because He first loved us."
God doesn't wait for you to get it together.
He meets you in the middle of the mess and says, "I've got you."
That's the heart of the One True God.
What Do You Do With This?
Maybe you're reading this and thinking, "Okay, but how does knowing about the Trinity change my Tuesday?"
Fair question.
Here's how:
When you pray, you're not shouting into the void. You're talking to your Father who hears every word.
When you're struggling, you're not fighting alone. Jesus walks with you because He's been through suffering too.
When you don't know what to say or do, the Holy Spirit intercedes for you and gives you strength you didn't know you had.
Knowing the One True God means you have access to all of Him.
Not just part. Not just when you're "good enough."
All of Him. All the time.
The Invitation Still Stands
If you've never said yes to Jesus, today is a perfect day to start.
You don't need fancy words.
You don't need to have it all figured out.
You just need to be honest.
Tell God you need Him. Tell Him you believe Jesus died for your sins and rose again. Ask Him to forgive you and lead your life.
That's it.
That's the gospel.
Romans 10:9 says, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
It's not about being perfect.
It's about being His.

A Prayer for Today
God, thank You for being real. Thank You for being One: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit: and for loving me enough to make Yourself known. I don't understand everything, but I trust You. Help me know You more. In Jesus' name, amen.
You're Not Alone
Wherever you are: on a night shift, in a hospital room, working from home, or reading this in a place where faith costs something: you are not alone.
The One True God is with you.
He sees you.
He knows you.
And He's not going anywhere.
