We have reached a special milestone.
It is Day 30 of our Global Micro-Study.
Whether you have been with us since Day 1 or you are just jumping in today, we are so glad you are here.
Today, we are looking at something that changes everything about how we see the future.
In the Assemblies of God, we call it Truth #13: The Blessed Hope.
You can read more about all 16 Fundamental Truths of the Assemblies of God on our website, but today, we are diving deep into this one specific promise.
What is the "Blessed Hope"?
Have you ever waited for something so long that you started to wonder if it would ever happen?
Maybe it was a job offer.
Maybe it was a doctor’s report.
Maybe it was just the end of a very long, very difficult night shift.
The Bible speaks of a "Blessed Hope" that isn’t like a wish. It isn’t like saying, "I hope it doesn’t rain tomorrow."
In the New Testament, "hope" means a joyful and certain expectation.
Titus 2:13 tells us exactly what it is: "While we wait for the blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ."
The Blessed Hope is the personal, imminent return of Jesus.
It is the moment when the struggles of this world meet the victory of Heaven.

Why Do We Call It "Blessed"?
The word "blessed" can feel a bit "churchy" sometimes, but it really just means "happy" or "fortunate."
This hope is blessed because it is the solution to every broken thing we see around us.
Think about the world for a moment.
We see sickness. We see loneliness. We see people struggling in hospice care or families navigating the stress of caregiving.
We see shift workers who feel like they are missing out on life because they are working when everyone else is sleeping.
We see people living in places where it isn’t even safe to say they follow Jesus.
The Blessed Hope says: This is not the end of the story.
The return of Christ means the restoration of all things.
It means resurrection for those who have passed away in Christ.
It means a brand-new body that doesn’t get tired or sick.
It means a world where sin and its effects are gone forever.
That is why it’s blessed. It is the ultimate "good news" at the end of a very long journey.
A Hope for the Global Family
At Boundless Online Church, we talk a lot about being a global community.
We know that many of you are reading this in places where "hope" feels hard to find.
Maybe you are a late-shift worker catching this on your break at 3:00 AM.
Maybe you are a caregiver who feels exhausted and isolated.
Maybe you are a seeker who just knows deep down that there has to be something more than this.
The Blessed Hope is for you.
It isn't just a theological point on a list. It is a lifeline.
When Jesus returns, He isn't coming back for a building or a specific zip code.
He is coming back for His people, a global family from every nation, every language, and every walk of life.

How the Blessed Hope Changes Today
Some people think that focusing on the return of Jesus makes you "too heavenly minded to be any earthly good."
But the Bible says the exact opposite.
When we have a clear vision of our future, it changes how we live right now.
1. It gives us perseverance
If you know the finish line is coming, you can run the race a little longer. If you are going through a season of suffering or grief, the Blessed Hope reminds you that your current trial is temporary. The eternal glory waiting for us is so much bigger than the pain we feel today.
2. It leads to godly living
Titus 2 tells us that this hope teaches us to say "no" to things that aren't good for us and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives. When we are expecting a guest we love, we tend to tidy up the house. When we expect Jesus, we want our hearts and lives to reflect His love and purity.
3. It fuels our mission
Knowing that Jesus is returning gives us a sense of urgency. We want everyone to know this hope. We want to help people meet Jesus and grow in faith online. This is why we share the Gospel. This is why we care for one another. We want the whole world to be ready for that glorious day.

Expectant and Joyful
We don’t look toward the future with fear.
The world often looks at the future with anxiety. People worry about the economy, politics, and the environment.
But for the believer, the return of Jesus is something to be excited about.
It is the "appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior."
Imagine the most beautiful sunrise you have ever seen.
Imagine that light breaking through the darkest clouds you’ve ever encountered.
That is a small glimpse of the joy that the Blessed Hope brings.
We live in the "already but not yet."
We already have the Holy Spirit. We already have the promise of salvation.
But we have not yet seen Him face to face.
The Blessed Hope is the bridge between our current reality and our eternal home.
Growing Together in Faith
If you are new to this idea, or if you find yourself asking "Is this really for me?", we want to encourage you to keep exploring.
Faith is a journey, and no one should have to walk it alone.

We also invite you to check out our Online Worship sessions where we celebrate these promises together as a community.
The Blessed Hope isn't just a doctrine. It's a Person.
His name is Jesus, and He is coming back for you.
Taking the Next Step
What does this mean for your life today?
Maybe it means finally letting go of an old worry.
Maybe it means starting a conversation with someone about why you have peace even when things are chaotic.
Or maybe it just means taking a deep breath and saying, "Jesus, I’m looking for You today."
If you are feeling overwhelmed, remember that we are here to support you.
Boundless Online Church is a place where we grow in faith together, no matter where you are or what time it is on your clock.
We help people meet Jesus and grow in faith online.

As we close out Day 30 of our study, let's carry this expectant joy with us.
The clouds will break. The King will return. And everything will be made right.
Until then, we live, we love, and we serve with our eyes on the horizon.
