Christian Living : The Seeker's Guide to Divine Healing at Boundless Online Church

A Message from Boundless Online Church

Divine healing is God’s supernatural work of restoring the body, mind, or spirit according to His will. At Boundless Online Church, I believe healing is provided through Christ’s atonement and is still available today. If you are seeking hope, the short answer is this: bring your need to Jesus, trust His Word, and ask for prayer.

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” : Isaiah 53:5

“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up.” : James 5:14-15

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” : Acts 1:8

If you are searching for divine healing, I want to point you directly to the Source. Whether you are navigating a physical illness, a mental health struggle, or a season of emotional exhaustion, I want you to know something right now: You are never forgotten, you are never alone, and you are deeply loved by God. Healing isn’t just a historical event we read about in the Gospels; it is a current, living reality available through the grace of Jesus Christ.

When we talk about healing, we aren't just talking about a lucky break or a medical mystery. We are talking about the provision made by Jesus on the cross. In our Assemblies of God tradition, we hold firmly to the truth that deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers. This means that when Jesus took those stripes on His back, He was thinking about your restoration.

I often hear from seekers who feel like they don’t have enough "faith" to be healed. Let me clear that up for you. Faith isn't a feeling you pump up inside yourself; it’s simply trusting that God is who He says He is. Even faith as small as a mustard seed is enough for God to move a mountain. Wherever you are in the world, the starting point is always the same: coming to the Father with an open heart and an honest acknowledgment of your need.

A major part of this journey involves the Holy Spirit Baptism. Many people think of the Holy Spirit only in terms of speaking in tongues, which is indeed the initial physical sign, but the purpose goes much deeper. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter and our Helper. When you are baptized in the Holy Spirit, you receive an enduement of power for life and service. This power isn't just for ministry "out there": it is power for your own internal transformation and the strength to walk through the valley of the shadow of death while holding onto hope.

Assemblies of God worldview IS the guardrails. This means we don't drift into "magic" or "superstition." We stay anchored in the Word. We believe that God is the Great Physician, but we also believe He works through the hands of doctors, therapists, and surgeons. If you are currently under medical care, we encourage you to continue following your doctor’s advice while simultaneously seeking the miraculous touch of God. Faith and wisdom go hand-in-hand.

For those of you who find comfort in watching stories of faith and miracles on screen, I always recommend being careful with what you consume. It’s also a great idea to maintain digital accountability with tools like Bark or Covenant Eyes, ensuring that your online journey remains focused on growth and purity.

So, how do you practically seek this healing? First, immerse yourself in the Word. The Bible is like medicine for the soul. Second, seek community. We weren't meant to carry our burdens alone. Healing often flows through the prayers of the saints. Third, ask for the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh every single day. You don't need a fancy formula; you just need a sincere "Lord, I need You."

I’ve seen moments where the atmosphere changes just because one person decided to believe God’s promise over their doctor’s report. It doesn’t mean the struggle disappears instantly every time, but it means you are no longer fighting that battle in your own strength. You have the Creator of the universe standing in your corner.

If you are a seeker, someone who is "unchurched," or maybe someone who has been hurt by religion in the past, let this be your "welcome home." There is no shame here. There is no judgment. There is only a group of people who have found hope in Jesus and want to share that hope with you. Divine healing is about more than just a physical fix; it’s about a spiritual awakening that changes everything.

Let’s take a moment to pray together. If you are hurting right now, I want you to place your hand on your heart or on the area where you need God’s touch.

A Prayer for Healing

Heavenly Father, I come to You on behalf of the person reading this right now. You know their pain, their diagnosis, and their silent struggles. Lord, I ask for Your divine healing power to flow through them. By the stripes of Jesus, we claim health and restoration. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them a peace that surpasses all understanding. Let them feel Your presence so strongly that all fear is cast out. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect will, but we boldly ask for a miracle today. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
