Welcome back. If you are joining us for the first time, or if you are coming back to "redo" this foundational study, you are exactly where you need to be.
Life moves fast. Whether you are catching this during a fifteen-minute break on a double shift, reading by the glow of a hospital monitor while caregiving, or scrolling through this in a place where following Jesus isn't always safe, we want you to know: God sees you. He has a word for you today.
In this Global Micro-Study, we aren't looking for religious complexity. We are looking for the Truth that sets us free. Today, we are focusing on the very foundation of everything we believe: The Word of God.
Why We Are Doing This "Redo"
Sometimes, we need to go back to the start. In the Assemblies of God (AG) tradition, our first Fundamental Truth is "The Scriptures Inspired." We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, an infallible rule of faith and conduct.
But for many of us, the Bible can feel like a heavy book on a shelf rather than a living, breathing guide for our lives. We call this a "redo" because we want to strip away the "churchy" expectations and get back to the heart of why this Book matters to a shift worker in a factory, a student in a dorm, or a parent who is exhausted and overwhelmed.
We help people meet Jesus and grow in faith online. That journey starts by understanding that God has spoken, and He is still speaking through His Word.

The Word is Inspired, Not Just Influential
There are a lot of great books in the world. There are motivational speakers, ancient philosophers, and helpful self-help guides. But the Bible is different.
When we say the Scriptures are inspired, we mean that God breathed His life into them. As it says in 2 Timothy 3:16-17:
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Think about that for a second. If you are feeling unequipped for the challenges of your day: if you feel like you’re failing as a caregiver, or you’re struggling to keep your head up in a hostile workplace: the Word of God is designed to "thoroughly equip" you. It isn't just a collection of stories; it is the fuel for your spirit.
Jesus: The Living Word
In this micro-study, we have to look at the connection between the printed page and the Person of Jesus Christ.
The Gospel of John tells us that "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1). Jesus is the Living Word. When we read the Bible, we aren't just studying a text; we are getting to know a Person.
Salvation comes through faith in Him. The Scriptures point us to Jesus, and Jesus points us to the Father. If you want to know what God thinks about you, look at Jesus. If you want to know how Jesus loves you, look at the Word.
For those of our community who are disabled or homebound, the "Living Word" is a beautiful reality. You might not be able to get to a physical building, but the Word of God is not bound. It is accessible right where you are. You can find more about how we connect in these digital spaces by checking out our Ultimate Guide to AI and Faith.

A Global Truth for Every Circumstance
At Boundless Online Church, we serve a global audience. We know that for some of you, owning a physical Bible is a risk. For others, your "quiet time" happens at 3:00 AM on a bus ride home from a late-night shift.
The beauty of the Word of God is that it is timeless and borderless. It doesn't require a special robe or a specific building to be effective.
For the Persecuted: The Word is your secret strength. It is the truth that the world cannot take away from you.
For the Shift Worker: The Word is your anchor. When your schedule is upside down, God’s truth remains right-side up.
For the Caregiver: The Word is your rest. When you are pouring out everything for someone else, the Scriptures pour back into you.
If you missed Day 1, you can catch up here: The Word That Never Changes. It’s important to see how these truths build on one another.
How to Practice a Micro-Study Today
Since this is a "micro-study," we want to give you a practical way to engage with the Word right now. You don’t need an hour. You just need a moment of focus.
Read Small: Take one verse. Let’s use Psalm 119:105: "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path."
Pray It: Ask God to show you where that "lamp" is shining today. Are you worried about a decision? Ask Him to light the next step.
Apply It: Don’t worry about the next mile. Just look at the next step the Word is lighting up for you.
Living for Jesus is a daily walk. It’s not about having all the answers for next year; it’s about trusting the Word for today. This is especially true for families trying to navigate the digital world. We actually have some great resources on Digital Safety that apply these biblical principles to how we protect our homes online.

The Authority of Truth
In a world where "truth" seems to change every time you refresh your social media feed, the Word of God stands firm. This is why we hold so tightly to AG Truth #1. If the Bible is just a book of suggestions, it has no power to save us. But because it is the inspired Word of God, it has the authority to transform us.
When we talk about salvation through faith in Jesus, we are talking about a promise found in the Word. We believe that we are saved by grace through faith, and that faith is built on the testimony of the Scriptures.
If you are feeling lost or like the world is shifting under your feet, come back to the Word. It is the anchor. We explored this idea deeply in another part of our study series, which you can read here: The Anchor of Truth.
Questions to Carry With You
As you go about your day: whether that involves sleep, work, or service: carry these questions with you:
Do I view the Bible as a list of rules, or as a letter from a Father who loves me?
What is one area of my life where I need God’s "lamp" to shine right now?
How can I share a small piece of God’s Word with someone else who is struggling today?
We invite you to ask questions. Faith isn't about having a perfect understanding; it's about a perfect Savior. If you are looking for a community to grow with, you can find our groups here or learn more about us here.

Moving Forward Together
Tomorrow, we will continue this journey. But for now, take a deep breath. Know that the Word of God is near you. It is in your heart and in your mouth as you confess that Jesus is Lord.
You aren't doing this alone. You are part of a global family of believers who are all leaning on the same Truth. Whether you are in a high-rise in a major city or a small village in a restricted country, the Word of God is just as powerful and just as present.
If you are a parent looking for ways to lead your family in these truths daily, we have specific devotionals for Morning, Midday, and Evening that can help you stay consistent.
