Welcome back to the Boundless Daily. Whether you are catching this during a quiet moment on your break, sitting in a dim hospital room, or keeping watch during a late-night shift, we are glad you are here.
In this Global Micro-Study, we are looking at the core truths that anchor our faith. Today, we are focusing on the center of everything: The Lord Jesus Christ.
In the Assemblies of God, our third Fundamental Truth is "The Adorable Deity of Our Lord Jesus Christ." That word "adorable" might sound a bit different than how we use it today, but it simply means He is worthy of all our worship, love, and honor because He is God.
If you’re new to this journey, you can see how we started by checking out The Word That Never Changes.
Who is Jesus?
For many people around the world, Jesus is a famous historical figure, a great teacher, or a prophet. But the Bible tells a much bigger story. It tells us that Jesus is the Son of God: fully God and fully man.
He didn’t just appear out of nowhere. His arrival was the fulfillment of ancient promises. He came to bridge the gap between a holy God and a broken humanity. If you are feeling isolated today, perhaps in a place where it is difficult to practice your faith openly, know this: Jesus is the God who comes to us.

The Virgin Birth: God With Us
The story of Jesus on earth begins with a miracle. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
Why does this matter to you today? It matters because it means Jesus is unique. He wasn't just another human being born into the cycle of sin. He was God stepping into our world, putting on human skin, and feeling what we feel.
He knows what it’s like to be tired. He knows what it’s like to be misunderstood. He knows what it’s like to face physical pain. Because of the virgin birth, He is the perfect mediator: someone who understands God perfectly and understands you perfectly.
A Sinless Life and Remarkable Miracles
As Jesus grew, He lived a life that no one else could. He was tempted in every way that we are, yet He never sinned. Not once.
Think about the weight of that. In a world full of mistakes, regrets, and "I wish I hadn't said that" moments, Jesus walked in perfect love and truth.
During His ministry, He performed miracles that showed His authority over nature, sickness, and even death. He healed the blind, fed the hungry, and calmed the storms. These weren't just "magic tricks." They were signs that the Kingdom of God had arrived.
If you are a caregiver looking after a loved one, or if you are struggling with your own physical limitations, these miracles remind us that Jesus has the final say over our bodies and our circumstances. He is the Great Physician.

The Substitutionary Work: The Great Exchange
This is the heart of the Gospel. The Bible teaches that "the wages of sin is death." We all have fallen short. We all have things in our past we aren't proud of.
But Jesus did something incredible. He went to the cross as our substitute.
"Substitutionary" is a big word, but it just means "in our place." He took the punishment that we deserved so that we could have the life that only He deserved. He paid a debt He didn't owe because we owed a debt we couldn't pay.
For the shift worker who feels like they are constantly running on empty, or the person who feels weighed down by guilt, this is the best news you will ever hear: Your debt is paid. You are not defined by your mistakes; you are defined by His sacrifice.
He is Risen: The Resurrection and Exaltation
The story didn't end at the grave. On the third day, Jesus rose from the dead.
The resurrection is the ultimate proof that Jesus is who He said He is. It proves that death has been defeated. Because He lives, we can have a living hope.
After His resurrection, Jesus was exalted to the right hand of God. This means He is in the position of highest authority. He isn't just a "meek and mild" figure from the past. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords right now.
He is interceding for you. That means He is praying for you. When you feel like you can't find the words to pray, or when you are too exhausted to even think, Jesus is standing before the Father on your behalf.

Jesus as Lord of Your Today
Acknowledging Jesus as Lord isn't just a theological statement. It’s a way of life. It means we surrender our plans, our worries, and our futures to Him.
If you are living in a place where following Jesus is dangerous, remember that His Lordship is higher than any earthly government or power. He is the "Anchor of Truth" in a shifting world. You can learn more about finding that stability in our study on The Anchor of Truth.
For the disabled person who feels overlooked by society, or the parent working three jobs to make ends meet, knowing Jesus as Lord means knowing that you have a Master who is kind, a King who is just, and a Friend who will never leave you.
How Do You Respond?
The Gospel is an invitation. Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
Maybe you've spent your life trying to earn God's favor, or maybe you've felt like you were too far gone for Him to care. Today is the day to set those burdens down.
Acknowledge that He is the Lord and Savior.
Believe that He died for your sins and rose again.
Commit to following Him, even in the middle of your busy or difficult life.
We are a community that helps people meet Jesus and grow in faith online. You don't have to do this alone. If you want to find a community of people who are walking this same path, check out our Groups page.
